1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Scribe Skate ("Scribe," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our mobile application or website (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Accounts and Responsibility

Users may create accounts in the App to save skating profiles, training logs, goals, coach notes, tests, competitions, and progress information. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access.

• You agree not to share account access in a way that compromises another user's privacy or security.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
• If a skater is under 13, a parent or guardian should create, manage, or supervise the account and decide whether Scribe is appropriate for the child.

3. Use of the App

Scribe is intended for figure skating organization, training reflection, and progress tracking. You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully.

• Do not attempt to access another user's account or data without permission.
• Do not misuse, disrupt, copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or its systems.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Do not use Scribe to store sensitive medical, financial, or other highly private information unrelated to skating organization and progress tracking.

4. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of the training data, notes, photos, and other content you create or submit in Scribe. By using the App, you grant us permission to store, process, and display that information as needed to provide and support the App's functionality.

You are responsible for the content you enter into the App and for ensuring you have permission to add information about coaches, family members, or other individuals where applicable.

5. Account Deletion

Account deletion requests can be initiated from within the App. Deletion requests are reviewed manually and are typically completed within 5 business days. Some information may be retained for a limited period if required for security, legal, fraud prevention, backup, or legitimate business purposes.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

If paid subscriptions are offered in the App, purchases, renewals, cancellations, and billing are handled through Apple's In-App Purchase system and your Apple ID account.

• Subscription pricing, trial availability, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store or Apple's purchase flow before purchase.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Refund requests and billing disputes are generally handled by Apple.

7. Not Medical, Safety, or Professional Advice

Scribe is an organizational and progress tracking tool. It does not provide medical, safety, coaching, judging, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Scribe is not a substitute for qualified coaches, medical professionals, parents or guardians, officials, or other appropriate advisors.

Skaters and families are responsible for making training, safety, competition, and health decisions with appropriate professional guidance.

8. Termination and Misuse

We may suspend or terminate access to Scribe if we believe an account has violated these Terms, created security risk, infringed rights, or misused the App. You may stop using the App at any time and may initiate account deletion from within the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scribe Skate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and may provide additional notice in the App or on the website. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
